Robert Lee Saucier

Robert Lee Saucier, age 63 and a resident of Saucier, died on Thursday, August 21, 2014, in Gulfport.
Mr. Saucier was a native and lifelong resident of Harrison County, was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Lizana, and he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was employed with the Harrison County Road Department for 38 years and at the time of retirement in 2010, he was the District 2 Assistant Road Manager.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas L. & Erma Lee Malley Saucier and his sister, Charlotte Reeves.
Mr. Saucier is survived by his children, Shannon (Michael) Carnes and Robbie Saucier all of Saucier; his sisters, Barbara Cuevas and Shirley Kelly both of Gulfport; his brothers, Michael (Linda) Saucier, Carl (Judy) Saucier, and Dennis (Audrey Kay) Saucier all of Gulfport; his grandchildren, Karlee Carnes, Haylee Carnes, Hayden Peterson, Michael Peterson, Kolby Peterson, and Kolden Peterson; and Gerald Peterson and Jervis Peterson, who he considered his sons.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2014, at 3pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Wolf River Cemetery.
