Robert Ernest "Bobby" McKean

Robert ""Bobby"" Ernest McKean, age 87, passed away May 17, 2016, in Gulfport, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Kelsey McKean and Mary M. Grant; his wife, Iris Fairley McKean; his son, Glenn David McKean; his brother, Edmond May; and his wife and the mother of his children, Mary Ruth Kinsey McKean.
Bobby is survived by his children, Mary ""Jan"" Guidroz, of Marrero, LA, and Wayne Louis McKean (Kim), of Birmingham, AL; his grandchildren, Dawnita Snell (Brian), Leslie Bordelon (John), Sabrina McKean, Christopher McKean, Bryon McKean, and Erika Holder; and his great grandchildren, Keilah, Johnny, Christopher, Matt, Joey, and Huxley.
He was a member of the Special Forces of the US Army during WWII. He was also retired from Avondale Shipyard in New Orleans, LA, where he was a sheet metal mechanic. Bobby was a past deacon and church member of First Assembly of God, Gulfport.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport from 2:00pm - 3:30pm, followed by a service at 3:30pm in the funeral home chapel.
