Robert A. Lefeve

Dr. Robert A. Lefeve, age 89, of Gulfport, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Maxine White Lefeve; and his parents, Antoine and Thelma McCoy Lefeve.
Dr. Lefeve is survived by his children, Mike Lefeve and Pattie Lefeve of Gulfport.
Dr. Lefeve served in the Merchant Marines and the U.S. Navy. He retired as a dentist in Gulfport and he served the Harrison County Sheriff Office as the staff dentist for 10 years. He is the former President of the Mississippi Dental Association and the 5th District Dental Association. He enjoyed fishing and sailing in his younger years. He was a member of the Rotary Club, was a Mason and Shriner and was the 2nd oldest member of the Gulfport Yacht Club. He was devoted to his wife of 64 years who preceded him by 5 months.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Gulfport with a visitation for family and friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
