Robert "Bobby" Everett Johnson, age 66, of Gulfport, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Jean Tilley and his father, Irvin Bruce.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Janet Anderson Johnson; sons, Dustan, Eric, and Timothy Johnson; a daughter, Jennifer Johnson; siblings, Aubrey Shoemake0 (Melanie), Jacqueline Blackwell (Roy), Jimmy Bruce, and Michelle LaRochelle; 9 grandchildren, DaKota, Bethanie, Katie, Kristen, Kyndle, Michelle, Cameron ,Kaylee, and Daelyn; and 2 great-grandchildren, Omar and Boydin.
Bobby was a lifelong resident of Gulfport and graduated from Harrison Central High School. He worked for C.E. Natco for 15 years and later retired from Metal Tech. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and cooking. Bobby was a member of Temple Baptist Church of Gulfport.
The family would like to thank the staff at Woodland Village Nursing Center for their care and compassion.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 6:00PM until 9:00PM. A visitation will be held at Temple Baptist Church, 14190 Dedeaux Rd., Gulfport, Thursday, August 31, 2017, from 9:00AM until services begin at 10:00AM. Burial will be at Anderson Cemetery.
