Robert Bryant Hill

Robert Bryant Hill, age 58, was called home peacefully, Sunday, March 20, 2016, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Robert was born June 5, 1957 to Billy and Alice Hill at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS. He went on to accomplish many things in his life.
Robert had a love for music and was a self-taught drummer, playing in bands up and down the Gulf Coast from the 70's into the 80's.
In 1987 Robert took on the biggest role of his life in the form of Daddy. In the early 1990's, Robert worked and traveled to American Samoa where he worked for Heinz Starkist. For the last 18 years of his life, Robert devoted his time and effort as risk manager at Boomtown Casino.
On March 20, 2012, Robert's second biggest role came in the form of ""PawPaw"". For the last 4 years, his life revolved around his beautiful granddaughter, Avery Elizabeth Williams.
Robert is survived by his parents, Billy and Alice Hill of St. Martin; his brother, Kenny Hill of St. Martin; his wife, Lynda Hill of Biloxi; his daughter Ashley(Brennan) Williams; his granddaughter, Avery Elizabeth Williams of Ocean Springs. Robert is also survived by a host of cousins, family and friends.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the Oncology staff at Gulfport Memorial for their compassionate care, as well as Notre Dame Hospice for their care.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd at Washington Ave, Ocean Springs with a visitation for family and friends from Noon until the service. Burial will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery.
