Robert Ginther

Bob Ginther, age 78, of Gulfport, passed away on October 7, 2017.
He was preceded in death by a son, Ron Ginther; and his parents, Elmer Francis Ginther and Loretta Elizabeth Ginther.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Emma Elaine Ginther; a son, Bob Ginther and his wife, Diane; a daughter, Michele Lee and her husband, Bob; a sister, Sharon Look; 2 step-sons, Lane Sutherland and his wife, Gail and Larry Sutherland; 2 grandchildren, Ronda Long and her husband, Jason, and Shelby Lee; 2 great-grandchildren, Laney and Lexi; other relatives and many friends.
He was a native of East Peoria, IL and has been a resident of the coast for 4 years.  He served in the U.S Army during the Vietnam War. He owned and operated Ginther Insurance Agency for 40 years and he was an avid golfer.  He enjoyed visiting with his family and friends.
A memorial service will be at 6 pm Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at Campground Baptist Church, 20577 Hwy 53, Gulfport, MS.
Another service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Roland Manor Baptist Church, 2433 Washington Road, Washington, IL 61571 with Rev. Steve Hardin officiating.  Visitation will be from 1 - 2 pm in the church. Burial will follow in Swan Lake Memory Gardens, 4601 W. War Memorial Dr., Peoria, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Campground Baptist Church or the Homes of Grace.
