Robert Otto Cowart

 Robert Otto Cowart, known as Bob to friends and family, age 75 of Biloxi, MS passed away on April 12, 2023, in Biloxi.

 Bob was preceded in death by his sons, Robert R. Cowart and Robert O. Cowart, Jr.; his parents, Woodrow D. Cowart, Sr., and Elizabeth (Gayden) Cowart; and his brother, Woodrow D. Cowart, Jr.

 He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Yvonne “Bonnie” M. Cowart; his daughter, Leslie A. Brewer; his two grandchildren, Sydney M. Joyce, and Zoey L. Brewer; and a host of friends.

 Bob proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, and later earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern MS.  He is the former transportation Director for the Ocean Springs School District and worked many years as a salesman at MS Coast Supply in Biloxi.  He loved motorcycles, listening to music, but most of all he loved his family.

 A visitation for Bob will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at The Riemann Family Funeral Home, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd., in West Jackson County.  A graveside service and Burial will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023, at 12:30 p.m. at The Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Blvd., in Biloxi.
