Robert Howerton "Bob" Carruth, age 92, of Long Beach, passed away on November 11, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Abner and Clara Carruth; and a brother, Jack Carruth.
Survivors include his loving wife of 68 years, Linda Carruth; a sister, Joanna Carruth; a nephew, Cornel Wolf; and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Carruth served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and later worked as a barber for several years. He enjoyed planting flowers and working in the yard. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, from 10 - 11 am at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2414 17th Street, Gulfport, MS. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am in the church. Entombment will be in Southern Memorial Park.
The RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, is serving the family.
