Robert "Bobby" Curtiss Payne

 Robert “Bobby” Curtiss Payne age 77, of Gulfport, MS., passed away on June 2, 2023, in Ocean Springs, MS.

Bobby was a native of Jackson and grew up in Newton, MS.  He was a Mississippi State University graduate and was a Printed Plastics Sales representative for Color Masters for many years.

  He enjoyed exercising, walking, and jogging on the beach, going to the gym, working in the yard, and landscaping.  He was a great dancer and was very social, funny, and loved meeting new people.  He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gulfport and a member of The Revelers Carnival Association.

 Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Joyce and Melvin Payne; his son, Jason Joseph Payne; and stepson, Ronald Wayne Blacklidge, Jr.

 He is survived by his wife, Donna Simmons Payne; his children, Alex Payne (Jennifer), and Tiffany Weisner (Chad); his brother, Melvin C. Payne, Jr.; his grandchildren, Josh Eppinette, Olivia Eppinette; stepchildren, Ginger Blacklidge Hyatt and her family, Roy Brittany Blacklidge and his family, and by the family of the late Ronald Wayne Blacklidge, Jr.

 A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 10:15 a.m. at Peachtree Memorial Park, 5051 Peachtree Industrial Parkway, Norcross, GA  30092.
