Robert Adam Bennett II

Robert Adam (Bob) Bennett, II, 50, of Biloxi, MS passed away suddenly of a heart attack on Saturday, October 10th in Biloxi.
Bob was baptized at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Biloxi, where he attended elementary school. He was a graduate of Biloxi High School and the University of South Mississippi, where he studied business and hotel management. He was a member and avid golfer at Sunkist Country Club, and enjoyed collecting books and art. Since 1987 he was the owner and manager of Edgewater Inn in Biloxi.
Mr. Bennett was preceded in death by his father Robert Adam (Bobby) Bennett; grandparents, Alvin and Alice Davis, and Harry and Ora Bennett; and uncles Bernard Bennett and Alvin Davis, Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Missy (Mary Alice) Davis Bennett of Biloxi and his brother Rhett Davis Bennett of Orlando, Florida. He is also survived by his uncle Edson L. Davis, and his aunts Maria Davis Baisier and Ann Bennett, all of New Orleans; his cousins Betty Lynn Bennett Lazarus (Harry), Phillip M. Bennett (Suzanne), Melissa Bennett Ingber (Shai), Courtney Davis Liberto (Jay), Yvette Davis Frederick (Brent), Edson L. Davis, Jr. (Jenny), Christopher Gregory Davis (Courtney), Bernard P. Baisier (Joanna), Aimee Baisier Gerrets (Kristian); and by numerous beloved second cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Noon at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 2090 Pass Road, Biloxi, MS 39531 with a visitation for family and friends from 11:00 AM until the Mass. Burial will follow at Southern Memorial Park, Biloxi.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Our Lady of Fatima Church at the address above.
