Robert Wayne ""Bob"" Bateman, age 68, of Gulfport passed away September 25, 2013 in Gulfport. Mr. Bateman was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Jessie Bateman, 2 sons, Gregory Lamar Bateman and Jeffrey Wayne Bateman, 2 granddaughters, Brooklyn Cherie Lee and Brittany Nicole Handley, 1 great-grandson Jayden Wayne Mabb, and 1 brother, Lamar Bateman. He is survived by his 2 daughters, Connie Handley (Jeff), and Sheila Mincey (Jared), 1 sister, Virginia Dixon (Ron), 7 grandchildren, Amber, Justin, Randall, Bradley, Sammy, Dakota, and Sierra, 5 great-grandchildren, RJ, Cameron, Nathaniel, Alyana, and Olivia. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday September 28, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Bethel Apostolic Church, Old Hwy 49, 14434 Church Rd, Gulfport, MS 39503.
