Robbie Calysta Russell

Robbie Calysta Russell, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, in Gulfport, MS.

She was preceded in death by her father, Oscar Robert Porter; mother, Lillian Eulalia Cambre Porter; and son, David Lee. 

Robbie is survived by her husband of 42 years, Ronald "Ronnie" Russell; children, Dewey "Bo" Lee (Evelyn) of Ozark, AR, Sherry Evans (Craig) of Gulfport, MS, and Marla Lee of Puyallup, WA; siblings, Oscar Robert "Bob" Porter; grandchildren, Johnny Lee (Anita), Samantha Brown (Sean), and Jonathan "Eric" Evans (Kerith); and 10 great grandchildren.

Robbie was born in Baton Rouge, LA, lived most of her life in Covington, LA, and moved to Gulfport, MS in 2020.

The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to April Hudson and the staff at April's Place for the compassionate loving care Robbie received during her 9 months stay.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, at the Lakeview Lodge at Flint Creek (1216 Parkway Drive, Wiggins, MS 39577).

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects.
