Rita Lee McVey Allen, age 73, of Helena, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Allen, Sr.; her parents, Bessie and Mack McVey; her siblings, Adelia McVey Heinis and Willa McVey Ragsdale, James Patrick McVey, Mike McVey, and Robert McVey.
Survivors include her son, Billy Joe Allen, Jr.; her sister, Trilla Paulk; 2 brothers, Charles McVey and Tommy McVey; and other relatives and friends.
Rita enjoyed spending time with her son, watching redbirds, and growing flowers.
A private family visitation will be held in Helena and burial will take place in Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery, Texas.
