Ricky Alan Green, age 65, was born on March 13, 1960, in Pascagoula, MS and was called to Heaven on January 21, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Irvin “Sugar Man” Green; father-in-law, Robert Carroll Watkins; grandparents, Henry & Winnie “Boozie” Green and G.L. “Dickie” and Verna Ferrer; Aunts, Janice Green Thornton and Judy Green Burchette; and his uncles, Donald Keith Green and Delbert Green.

Ricky is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Kimberly “Kim” Green, of Helena, MS; his son, Chad Green (Ashley) of Pascagoula, MS; his twin granddaughters, Olivia Joyce Green & Sophia Carroll Green of Pascagoula, MS; his mother, Jeannie Green of Ocean Springs, MS; siblings & spouses: brothers, Randy (Alicia) Green of Vancleave, MS, Roylynn Green of Atlanta, TX; sisters, Robin (Frankie) Sherman of Pascagoula, MS and Roxanne (Allen) Freeman of Ocean Springs, MS; mother-in-law, Amelda Watts Watkins of Helena, MS; sisters-in-law, Cindy (Robby) Baggett of Mobile, AL, Julie Watkins of Pascagoula, MS, and brother-in-law, Wayne (Chris) Watkins of Moss Point, MS; his aunt, Evelyn Green of Helena, MS; his uncle Tommy (Dianne) Ferrer; and numerous nieces, nephews, & other relatives.

He was born in Pascagoula, MS later moved to Atlanta, TX where he graduated from Atlanta High School in 1978. He has been a longtime resident of Helena and retired from Chevron Refinery after 30 + years as a Senior Mechanical Equipment Specialist

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to the MS Highway Patrol Troopers Disaster Relief Fund, P.O. Box 22871, Jackson, MS 39225-2871

Visitation will be on Monday, January 26, 2026, from 10 – 11 am at the Helena Presbyterian Church, 10401 Saracennia Road, Moss Point, MS 39562. The memorial service will be at 11 am in the church.

The Riemann Family Funeral Home, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd, West Jackson County, is serving the family.
