Richard "Rich" Scarpone

Richard "" Rich"" Scarpone, age 57,a native of Monaca, PA and a resident of Gulfport, MS, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016, in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his son, Brian; his mother, Dorothy; his father, Larry; and his brother, Tom.
Richard is survived by his wife of 16 years, Kaye Scarpone of Gulfport; his children, Ricky Scarpone, Brandon Scarpone, and Gabrielle Brighton; his step-children, Brooks Hubbert (Melissa), Benjamin Hubbert (Raquel) and Burgundy Hornsby (Dub); his sister, Nancy McDonaugh; his grandchildren, Kylie, Harper, Jane Claire, Clark, Hayes, and Holly; his special nephew, T.J. Scarpone; his special cousin, Tina Fronrath; his best friends, Fur Basinger and Tank Latta; and many other family and friends.
Richard served in the US Navy for 12 years and retired from the US Postal Service.
He was larger than life and loved by all. He loved family, friends, fishing and food. He will be missed.
