Richard E. Pearce, age 66 of Newberry, Florida, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017.
A native of Louisiana and the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Richard served as a Medical Corpsman in the United States Army, and was stationed in Germany. After his service time, he received his MBA and most recently held the title of Director of Critical Care Services at University Hospital in Augusta, GA.
Mr. Pearce enjoyed home remodeling, woodworking, restoring his El Camino, and spending time with his family.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Robert C. and Rosa M. Pearce; and his brother, Rory Pearce.
He is survived by his wife of ten years, Cheryl A. Pearce; his children, Richard E. Pearce, Jr. (Darci), Ryan C. Pearce (Melissa), Daniel R. Ball (Keli), and Ryan M. Ball (Karina); his siblings, Robert C. Pearce, III (Liz), Ralph Pearce (Tracey), Renè Pearce (Gail), and Ray Pearce (Nancy); his grandchildren, Aubrey Jordan Pearce and Reagan Nicholas Pearce; and his aunts, Hazel Perrio and Ruby Louviere.
A private time for family will precede committal ceremonies at Biloxi National Cemetery where military honors will be rendered.
