Ricky went to be with his Lord Friday, November 6, 2015.
He was born in Gulfport to Joseph and Ruth Kinsey on January 28, 1964. Ricky married Michelle James in Gulfport on August 15, 1987. Ricky and Michelle reside in Long Beach where they have raised their son, Kristopher and daughter, Alexandria. Ricky served as Pastor at Faith Assembly of God in Kiln, Mississippi, for over three years and was ordained as a credentialed minister with the Assemblies of God in full-time ministry. He served in music ministry for 19 years, beginning at Gulf Coast Worship Center in Long Beach. Continuing the rich heritage of ministry, Ricky served as minister of music at First Assembly of God in Gulfport, a church founded by his grandfather and where his father served as Deacon. Ricky also served at Extended Hands Assembly of God as worship leader.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Betty Jo Baker; and his brother, Mickey Kinsey.
Ricky is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Michelle; his son, Kristopher Kinsey; his daughter Alexandria Kinsey; his sister, Janice Raynaud; his brother, Robbie Kinsey; and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss their uncle Ricky.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th at First Assembly of God, 2600 22nd Avenue in Gulfport, at 10 a.m. with the service to celebrate his life dedicated to the Lord to follow at 12:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held immediately following the service at Gulf Pines Cemetery in Long Beach. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd., Long Beach, is serving the family.
