Richard Haney

Richard Wayne Haney, age 72 of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Revell Snowden Latimer; father, Harry Waldon Haney; brother, Calvin Hue Haney.
Richard is survived by his wife of 46 years, Katherine Reyer Haney; children, Jennifer Lynn Dias (John "Jay"), of Phoenix, AZ, and Rebekah Michell McKnight (Ronnie), of Gautier, MS; grandchildren, Margaret "Maggie" Lamey, Gabrial McKnight, Lilith "Lili" McKnight, and Elyse Diane Dias.
He was a native of Camden, Arkansas.  He worked 32 years at Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula.
Richard loved woodworking and also loved playing chess.
We sincerly thank the first responders; Jackson County Sheriff Department and the team of Acadian Ambulance for their hard work and respect they showed us and Richard.  They worked so hard.  Thank you all so much.  We also thank the Riemann Staff.
