Richard Dee Bowerman Jr. lost his life long battle with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome type 4 early Sunday morning. He was a beloved husband, son, brother and friend. He was a Latter Day Saint.
He was survived by his amazing wife, Jasmine Bluehouse Bowerman; his adoptive mother, Lucy L. Palmer; his biological mother, Cherry Learn and his father, Michael Learn; his biological father, Richard Dee Bowerman Sr. and his step mother, Shelia Bowerman. Richard is survived by many sisters and brothers including, Fred Fox, Jimmy Fox and his wife Michelle Fox, Lisa Breland and her husband James E. Breland, Mary Dycus and her husband Joshua Dycus, Troy Bowerman, Shawnee Palmer, Michael ""Mikey"" Palmer, Coyte ""Cody"" Palmer and Cody Bowerman; his nieces, Ashley Breland and Cori Dycus; nephews Andrew Breland and Joshua Dycus Jr, and by his aunts, Arelene Barrett and Anita Bullard. Richard was survived by many lifelong friends including, Evan Lanier, Rocko Gilman and Melissa Camps.
He was so full of life and such a happy person. Richard loved his family most of all. Richard was a traveler and an explorer. His motorcycle and his truck were his most prized possessions. Richard loved to fish and was a gamer at heart. There are so many people that will always love and miss him and he will never be forgotten. He loved his wife Jasmine more than life. She made the last 3 years of his life the best he ever had. He worshipped the ground she walked on and she worshipped the ground he walked on. They were meant for each other.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Finley Cemetery in Harrison County.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
