Renelder John Ladner, Sr., age 77, lifelong resident of Dedeaux, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, in Gulfport.
Mr. Ladner was born in Harrison County to Fred and Celina Ladner. After serving in the United States Army, he worked for Fayard Moving and Storage for twenty-five years. He retired from Deep South Trucking eleven years ago. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dedeaux where he served previously on the Parish Council and was a charter member of Knights of Columbus Council 12331. He will be remembered for his love for and devotion to his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Celina Ladner; siblings, Velina Niolet, Edward Ladner, Buster Ladner, Houston Ladner, Everett Ladner, Wilbon Ladner, and Avan Ladner.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Gladys Ladner; children, Conchetta Heath (Bill) of Poplarville, Renelder John ""Buddy"" Ladner, Jr. (Marlene) of Pass Christian, and Dianette Hunt (Nelson) of Wiggins; sister, Elvera Necaise of Pass Christian; grandchildren, Gregory John Ladner (Dywana), Derek Robert Ladner (Danielle), Ashley Renee Ladner (Jennifer), Kayla Rosella Hunt (Brian Cuevas), Mason William Hunt; great grandchildren, Cameron Ladner, Bryce Ladner, Caden Ladner, Kalli Cuevas, Lydia Cuevas, and Gabryelle Cuevas.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road, from 6-9 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dedeaux, at 1:00 pm. Friends may visit two hours prior at the church.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou. Memories may be shared at www.riemannfamily.com.
