Regina Franke

Regina Ann Franke, age 63, of North Long Beach, passed away on October 4, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alva and Lillian Hoda; a sister, Carolyn Niolet; and her father-in-law, Jimmy Franke.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, James "Dutch" Franke; a daughter, Mandy (Mitch) Hardie; her siblings, June Middleton, Margaret Necaise, Brenda (Dennis) Laubmeier, Pat (Sharon) Hoda, Kenny Hoda, Ronnie (Jackie) Hoda; her mother-in-law, Everetta Franke; 3 grandchildren, Raileigh, Hunter, and Braden; and other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and she loved being a grandmother.  She enjoyed camping, boating, and spending time with her family and friends.  Regina retired from the Harrison County School District after serving a generation of children with love.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 m on Monday, October 9, 2017, at Holy Family Catholic Church.  Visitation will be from 10 - 11 am in the church.  Interment will be in Alphonse Malley Memorial Cemetery.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Rachel Singleton and all of Regina's family and friends for providing love and care for her during her illness.
