Rebecca June Humphries

Rebecca June Humphries, 79, passed away on June 5, 2024, in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Born in DeKalb County, Alabama, she was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Rebecca was a longtime Biloxi resident, a deacon’s wife, and an Air Force wife.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Donald Ray Humphries Sr.; and parents, Tommy Cook and Burma Morrison Wheatley.

She is survived by four children, Donna McGehee of Biloxi, Daphne Jo O’Barr (Bobby) of D’Iberville, Debra Jean Humphries of Biloxi, and Donald Ray Humphries Jr. of Woodlands, TX; grandchildren, Victoria Delancey, Candace Craig, BG O’Barr, Holly Reagan, Anna Robinson, Maggie O’Barr, Catherine O’Brien, Bethany Humphries, Ashleigh Sparks, Austin Humphries; seven great grandchildren; siblings, Sandra Kimsey (David), Mike Cook (Donna), Brian Wheatley (Liz); stepbrother, Ralph Scaggs; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024, starting at 12:30 PM, with visitation one hour prior to the service, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Rd. Biloxi, MS. Interment will follow at 1:30 PM at Biloxi National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, family and friends are encouraged to donate to a local charity of their choice.
