Mrs. Reba Wigington Shireman, age 73, resident of Gulfport, passed away on August 16, 2016, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Shireman was born in Nashville, TN to the late Charles Wigington and Mary Jane Medley.
She was retired from Gulfport Memorial Hospital where she spent her career helping others as a Registered Nurse. Some of her favorite activities included baking, traveling, and loving on her ""babies"". She was a devout member of St. James Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Warren E. Shireman; daughter, Amy J. Smith; and a sister, Carole Wigington.
She is survived by two grandchildren, Mary Jolene Piper and her husband James, and Jacqlyn K. Elliott and her husband Ross; and three great-grandchildren, Ryan and Lorelai Piper, and Oliver Elliott; and one sister Charlene Hulker and her husband Bob.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 at St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport at 1 PM with visitation 2 hours prior to Mass. Interment will be held at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport is serving the family.
