Raynell Lee Dunn

Raynell Lee Dunn, 84, of Lizana, Mississippi, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Born in LaPlace, Louisiana, Mrs. Dunn was a high school graduate and a faithful member of the Pentecostal faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, known lovingly as “Meme.” Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Ray Dunn; her parents, Frank Lee and Luella Smith Lee; her siblings, Reba Thompson, Larry Lee, and James Lee; and her granddaughter, Brandy Dunn.

Survivors include her children, Sherwin (Kathy) Dunn, Lacresa (John) Tucker, James (Angela) Dunn, David Dunn, and Adam (Andrea) Dunn; her grandchildren, Davis Dunn, Steven (Sarah) Dunn, Samantha (Dylan) Bradshaw, Joseph Tucker Jr., Elizabeth (Joseph) Ruger, Lance (Amanda) Dunn, Jarod Dunn, Jonathan (Cindy) Dunn, and Megan Dunn; step-grandchildren, Amy (Josh) Corey, Joshua Ulmer, Andrew Ulmer, and Jeremy Young; and her great-grandchildren, Jeffery (Ansley) Dunn, Olivia Dunn, Cooper Dunn, Bennett Dunn, Brileigh Dunn, Alden Dunn, Ivy Ruger, Alice Ruger, Blue Dunn, Nova Dunn, Noa Dunn, Lauren Junek, Daryl Fugate, Jr. Eric Josephson, and Lydia Josephson. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Scooter, and her dear relative John “Little John” Skiados.

Mrs. Dunn will be remembered for her kind heart, her devotion to her family, and her unwavering faith.

She will be greatly missed by all.

Friends are invited to join the family for visitation and services on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS . Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m.
