Raymond Quandt

Raymond Paul """"Ray"""" Quandt, 66, of Ocean Springs, died Saturday, May 20, 2006 in Ocean Springs.
Mr. Quandt was born in Detroit. He served in the United State Air Force during the Vietnam War and retired after 20 years as a Tech Sergeant. He was a member of Christus Victor Lutheran Church in Ocean Springs. Mr. Quandt enjoyed building and flying radio controlled airplane models and camping with his family. He worked for SeaFab in Pascagoula and the C & G boatworks on Bayou LaBatre.
Mr. Quandt was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Doris Jean Sylvester Quandt.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Ann Quandt of Ocean Springs; children, Laura Jean Bartel of Lake Jackson, TX, Catherine Anne Jenkins of Gulfport and Daniel Paul Quandt and wife Lorain of D'Iberville; brother, Frederick Quandt of Riverside, CA; sisters, Barbara Hendrickson of New Braunfels, TX, Joyce Burmeister of Lincoln Park, MI and Jean Malkonian of Trenton, MI; grandchildren, Randy Bartel, Paige Bartel, Brook Jenkins, Drew Quandt, Heather Morgan, Tyler Quandt and Parker Quandt.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 25, 2006 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Christus Victor Lutheran Church in Ocean Springs. Service will follow at 1:00 p.m at the church. Interment will be at Biloxi National Cemetery with full military honors.
