Raymond E. Cummings, 81, passed away Monday, January 18, 2016 in Gulfport.
Raymond will always be remembered for his joyful smile, fun loving spirit and generous heart. He loved the outdoors, his family and his country. He proudly served in the U.S. Marines and Air Force for 23 years. His spirit will live on in his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Inez Cummings; brothers, Darrel and Ancil Cummings; grandson, John T. Hays, II.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jodie Cummings; 4 children, Glen Cummings (Sheila), Gary Cummings (Becky), Donna C. Hays (John) and Burton Cummings (Colleen); sister, Teresa Cummings; 12 grandchildren, Jason Cummings, Stewart Cummings, Thomas Hays, Deston Cummings, Derrick Cummings, Lindsey Eddington, Burton Cummings, III, Clint Cummings, Amanda C. Santopietro, Ryan Cummings, Cassie Hopkins and Abbie Right; 11 great grandchildren, Austin Cummings, Payton Cummings, Skyler Cummings, Rebecca Cummings, Marina Hays, Riley Cummings, Savannah Cummings, Annabelle Cummings, Gilliana Cummings, Bailey Eddington and Tinsley Eddington.
A visitation will be held at 11:00AM till 12:00PM on Friday, January 22, 2016 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. A graveside service will be at 12:30PM following the visitation at Biloxi National Cemetery.
