MSgt Raymond Jay Burger, USAF, retired, age 86 of Gulfport passed away onSunday, June 21, 2015.
Mr. Burger retired from the United States Air Force after serving 21 years, and later retired from civil service as an Electronics Technician. He enjoyed fishing as his hobby.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Beatrice C. Burger; and his five siblings, Roy Burger, Harold Burger, Imogene Magers, Alberta Cowen, Janice Bottorff.
He is survived by his children, Paul Burger of Saucier, and Denise Burger-Garton (Kyle) of Sugar Land, TX; his grandchildren, Jeff Burger of Petal, Jason Burger of Lewisville, TX, and Emily Garton of Lewisville, TX; his great-grandchildren, Annelise Burger and Breanna Burger; and his brothers, Duane Burger of La Port, IN and Gordon Burger of Knox, IN.
Services will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Armed Forces Retirement Home Chapel, Gulfport, at 10:00 AM. Friends may visit one hour prior. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
