Ray Joseph Klein, age 67, passed away on December 26, 2017, in Bay Saint Louis, MS.
He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Klein.
He is survived by his mother, Mary K. Giveans of Bay Saint Louis; one daughter, Ann Marie Klein-Hayes of Greenville, SC; a step-son, Jason Nelson of Slidell, LA; six grandchildren, James Stoepker, Anna Hayes, Thomas Z. Hayes VI, Michael Hayes, Rosie Hayes, Madison Hayes; and three great-grandchildren, Malachi Hayes, Ma'caden Hayes, and Monroe Hayes.
Ray was formerly of New Orleans, LA, where he grew up and graduated high school. During his lifetime he worked in many fields, some of them include working as a cab driver and a security officer. He also once owned a fiberglass repair business and a pawn shop.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay Saint Louis. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and Jaycees in Slidell.
He enjoyed golfing, fishing and boating, and was interested in politics and non-profit organizations.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:30-2:30 PM on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church, Bay St. Louis. Interment will be held at Evergreen Gardens Cemetery in Gulfport.
