Ralph Loposser

September 1, 1939 — October 10, 2017

Ralph Sheely Loposser, born southern and proud of it, and a true Handsboro Boy, died October 10,2017 at Ocean Springs Hospital.
He was born September 1, 1939 in Gulfport, Ms. to Ralph W. Loposser and Walline Taylor Loposser.
He leaves behind his  brother,Ronald S. Loposser, his oldest son, Ralph Joseph Loposser, (Sue) a daughter, Rhonda Sue Loposser Gautier (Chad) and his youngest son, Hoyt Logan Loposser.
He had three grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Rebecca, Taylor and Robert Shelly Loposser Gautier. He also has several grandchildren and a great granddaughter in Ohio He may not have seen them often but he loved them too.
Ralph also leaves behind the family he married into and many nieces and nephews.
His wife of almost fifty years, Norma J. Raymo Loposser is left with a broken heart filled with precious memories. She would do it all again if God would only give her the chance.
They loved each other through it all. If two hearts ever beat to the same drummer, theirs did. They may not have had a lot, but they really didn't want a lot. They had their family and a road to travel. They loved nothing better than going for a ride.
Ralph was a cut-up,quick with a smart word and a man who knew no fear. He would try anything, and often as not, he screwed up, but that didn't ever stop him. He lived his life his way and didn't care what anyone thought about.
He was a industrial electrician and always willing to lend a helping hand when the lights went out. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix if he wanted too.
He was sick the last two years of his life and fought hard, but in the end his was just tired and ready to go home.
He was a life long member of Handsboro Presbyterian Church and served as an elder for many years. He was just about the only one who could get the clock to run.
He was a Boy Scout leader and an antique car enthusiast who served in the Marine Corp. and Air Force.
Ralph knew his Lord and Savior personally and he is now sitting at the feet of Jesus waiting for Ms. Norma to get there.
He loved his brother, his children and family beyond measure but he especially loved his wife and she him. The last thing they said to each other was "I love you".
Please keep them in prayer.
Memorial Services will be at Handsboro Presbyterian Church Sunday, October 15, 2017 with visitation at 2 p.m.and services at 3 p.m. lead by his long time friend and pastor, Bobby Tyson.
Ralph didn't like to dress up so casual attire is requested.
Donations may be made to any charity benefiting children.
Ralph was blessed to have great doctors and nurses in SICU at Ocean Springs Hospital and his family is grateful. We also want to thank Dr. Lydia Latour and his physical therapist, Mike Smith. He loved you both.
God be with us all.
