R. Clark Sauls, age 42, of Gulfport passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013 in Gulfport.
He grew up in Tylertown, MS and went to high school there. Then he moved to Columbia and graduated from Columbia High School. After high school, he attended Jones Junior College and Southwest Junior College receiving his Associates Degree. He was a floral designer by trade working in Birmingham, AL, at the Beau Rivage, Lady Di's Florist in Ocean Springs, and Lemon Tree Florist in Gulfport. He was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves.
Survivors include his father, Bobby (Jean) Sauls of Columbia, MS; his mother, Virginia Sauls of Gulfport; his partner, Bradley Sanders of Gulfport; step brother, Jeffry Evans; step sister, Daphne Herbst; and his friend, Deborah West.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, with a visitation one hour prior, on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. A reception at the funeral home will follow the service.
Donations may be made to the Humane Society of South Mississippi.
