Prudence Cyr

Prudence Parker Cyr, age 94 died Tuesday, February 25, 2025, in Diamondhead, MS.

She was born July 29, 1930 in Prescott, Arkansas. After a few years of being a nurse, she met and married Louis Cyr and became a military spouse. She was a loving wife and upon Louis’s death in 2010, had shared 57 wonderful years together. She was a devoted mother to Greg, David, Mark, Paul and Chris. She was a matriarch to five sons, four daughters-in-law, nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.

Her exceptional example influenced her family and community. Her priority was always in service of others. She loved her God, her family, and her country. She was loved.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Monday, March 3, 2025, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 9062 Kiln Delisle Rd, Pass Christian, MS. A visitation will begin at 9:30 AM until time for the service at the church. A burial will follow the service at Biloxi National Cemetery at 12:30 PM.
