Preston Dewey Bond, born on October 25, 1958, in Gulfport, MS, passed away peacefully at his residence in Long Beach, MS, on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. He was a dedicated house painter, known for his skill and attention to detail, which reflected his love for his craft.

Preston's life was enriched by his passion for fishing, which he pursued fervently throughout his lifetime. He was a Baptist.

Preston is remembered with deep affection by his wife, Imelda Bond, who stood by his side in all of life's journeys. He is also survived by his beloved sisters, JoAnn Bond and Linda (Darvin) Smith, as well as his cherished nephews, Wesley Watts, Matthew Triana, and Joseph Woodcock. His nieces, Amber (Lance) Allen and Elisha Woodcock, along with other loving family members and friends, will carry his memory with them always.

In addition to the joy and warmth he spread in his relationships, Preston's departure leaves an absence in the hearts of many. He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Vernell Bond, his father, Harold Everett Bond, and his sister, Norma Lee Snyder.

As family and friends gather to celebrate Preston's life, his legacy of love, faith, and commitment to his craft will continue to resonate in their hearts. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM at Riemann Family Funeral Home located at 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, MS. A graveside service will follow at Allen Cemetery.

Preston Dewey Bond will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever remain in the cherished memories of those who knew and loved him.
