Prentice A. "P.A." Ferrill, age 77, of Gulfport, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018.
P.A. was born in Gulfport to Atty and Luella Cuevas Ferrill. He was retired from the Gulfport Fire Department and will be remembered for his gift of gab, his humor, and his hats.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta J. Ferrill; his parents; his siblings, Alvin Ferrill, Ernest Ferrill, Edward Ferrill, and Lawny Ferrill.
He is survived by his children, Prentice "Scooter" Ferrill (Cheryl), Diann "Beth" Hans (Dave), Prentice "Sonny" Ferrill, and Shannon "Sassy" Miller (Brian); grandchildren, Chase Ferrill, Skyler Hans, Casey Clanahan, and Michael McWilliams; one great grandchild, Wyatt Ferrill; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at a later date.
The family would like to express a special ‘thank you' to the Coast Cardiology Group and the staff of Memorial Hospital.
