Phyllis Arlene Shippee age 65, of D’Iberville, MS passed away on April 29, 2026, surrounded by the immense love she gave so freely. Born to William and Jeraldine Ebberman on October 29, 1960, in Vicksburg, MS and later moved to the Gulf Coast where she attended Biloxi High School and remained a resident of D’Iberville for over 30 years. Phyllis worked in the food service industry and found joy in spending time with family and close friends. Phyllis loved nature and spending time outdoors. Growing up on the Coast - fishing and camping with family and long motorcycle rides with her loving husband were some of her most cherished moments. Phyllis was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 35 years Jim Shippee. Her parents William and Jeraldine Ebberman, and her brother Billy Ebberman.

She leaves behind her guidance, strength, and unconditional love to her children Felicia Lynd, Brian (Jessica) Shippee, and Phillip Shippee. Her three grandchildren, Alexa Shippee, Logan and Lane Young. Loving brother Mack (Michelle), Branning, best friend and sister Leslie (Rusty) McGrew, Aunt Terry Dunnigan, Uncle Pete Gray, and many loved nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice (Kaila and Megan) for their compassion and care during this difficult time. Phyllis’s wishes were not to have a service upon her homecoming but preferred everyone to cherish the memories they made together.
