Phyllis Orr

Phyllis F. Orr, age 97, of Gulfport, passed away on January 19, 2017.
She attended school at American University in Washington D.C. and Washington School of Secretaries and worked for the Federal Government as an administrator. She lived in the Washington D.C. area until 1974, when she moved to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She was very active at Trinity Bible Church in Gulfport and the Christians Woman's Club. She was also the discussion leader with Bible Study Fellowship.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gus Wayne Orr; her parents; and her sister Lucile Boden.
She is survived by her sons, William Orr and Robert Orr; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 12 PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Bible Church, 9095 West Oaklawn Rd. Gulfport, MS 39502.
