Passed away on 3 June, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on 18 August, 1947 at Kings Daughter Hospital in Bay St. Louis, MS. Phyllis was married to John Hover for 48 ½ years. She enjoyed working for Harrison County School System for 24 years. She lived in Long Beach, MS. most of her life and attended St. Thomas church religiously.
Phyllis was a truly loved woman by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her husband John ""JD"" Hover and her parents Rand Waltman and Mary (Cospelich) Waltman. She is survived by her children; Tammy Williams-Robare and her spouse Daniel J. Robare of Mobile, AL, David R. Hover of Long Beach, MS., Gilbert E. Hover of Long Beach, MS., Dione M. Santobianco and her fianceÌ John Leggett of Long Beach, MS., She is survived by her grandchildren; Russell L. Tripp Jr. and fianceÌ Amber Phillips of Mobile, AL., Christine Tripp Haus of Long Beach, MS., Christopher D. Robare and spouse Heather Robare of Mobile, AL., Michael T. Santobianco and Allison Santobianco of D'iberville, MS. She has five Great grandchildren; Hayden and Elijah Haus of Long Beach, MS., Chrisalynn and Alexia Robare of Mobile, AL. and Russell L Tripp III of Mobile, AL. She also had a very loving pet, Jack Frost.
She is survived by her siblings; Gary Waltman, Carolyn Brewer, Marian ""Bucky"" Waltman, Polly Boswell, Sandra Boswell, George Waltman, Geraldine ""Gerry"" Waltman, Joseph ""JP"" Waltman, Terry Waltman and Dawn Lusich. Phyllis is also survived by her Sister-in-Law Gale and husband Dale Godwin and Brother-in-law Dale Hover. Phyllis had numerous nieces and nephews that were very dear to her heart. She also has numerous great-nieces and great-nephews she loved very much. Very special to Phyllis was her Godchildren; Emily Snell, Jaimie Helmly and one angel John Wayne Brewer.
Phyllis is predeceased by her brothers Joe Cospelich and Harold Waltman.
A Memorial Mass in honor of Phyllis M. Hover at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Hwy 90 in Long Beach, MS on the 6th of June, 2016 at 10:00 am.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
