Phillip Edward Ezell died on February 20, 2018 at the age of 86. Phillip attended and graduated from Maydell High School in Cherokee County Texas.  He attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. Phillip served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  Upon discharge he accepted a position with The Travelers Insurance Company where he served for 35 years in numerous locations, around the Texas area, including Houston, Corpus Christi, and Harlingen.  He was also located in Salt Lake City, Utah and �nally retiring as Group Chair Manager in New Orleans, Louisiana. After retiring from the Travelers Insurance Company, Phillip was employed by Provident Life and acted as the Regional Claim Director in Salt Lake City then in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  He retired in January 1, 1995 settling down in Pass Christian, Mississippi
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam E. Ezell and Mattie Hill Ezell of Jacksonville, Texas.
Phillip is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Marjorie Brown Ezell; four children; Lynda Dauphin and her husband Larry Dauphin, Dee Ann Datri and her husband Matt Datri, Phillip Ezell, Jr., and his wife Terri Ezell, Jan Ezell Glaudi and her husband Gregg Glaudi and son in law Ivan Blasini; one grandson, Nathan Ezell; �ve granddaughters, Christi Parson (Matthew), Tina Gibson (Conor), Jackie Mancina (Mike), Jewel Datri, Abigail Ezell and two great grandchildren, Olivia and Bronson Parson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00PM on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Our Lady of The Gulf Catholic Church, 228 S Beach Blvd, Bay St Louis. A visitation will be held Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the church from 1:00PM until service time. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.
RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd, Long Beach is serving the family.
In lieu of �owers, the family request that donations be made to Our Lady of the Gulf Church, 228 S Beach Blvd, Bay St Louis.
