Phil Wales Taylor

Phil Wales Taylor, 80, passed away Thursday, October 3. Phil was a cherished mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed more than words can say. She was known and loved by all for her laughter and giving nature and was a shining example for every mother and grandmother on how to love and discipline, while teaching at the same time. She and her late husband R. W. took their roles as grandparents seriously and provided love and guidance unfailingly to the very end.
Phil is survived by her children Patricia (Prissy) Joyner and Mike, Gary Taylor and Jackie, Robert Taylor and Janet Crandall, and Barbara Taylor Hund. She is also survived by grandchildren Justin Joyner, Jarrod Joyner, Ian Taylor, Benjamin Taylor, Robert Hund and Amelia Hund, and great-grandson Kingston Taylor.
Special thanks given to Jo Ellen Conn Frazier and her special staff for the loving care they provided to Mrs. Taylor. Also, thanks to the wonderful neighbors for their care and concern.
Services will be held at Riemann Family Funeral Home, Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, Monday, October 7, 2013, with visitation from 12:30 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m.
Entombment will be immediately following at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
