Peter "Pete" Martin, Jr.

Peter F. Martin, Jr. 88 passed away on July 16th after a brief illness.

He was preceded in death by his parents Peter F. Martin, Sr. and Theda Ahrens Martin.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Bette Storey Martin; and three sons Peter, Michael (Jeralyn), and Christopher (Pilar); seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pete graduated from Riverside Military Academy and attended the University of Southern MS, He was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, where donations would be welcomed.  He was a devoted family man and hosted many happy gatherings with his wonderful family.  He will be greatly missed but leaves behind many cherished memories.

A visitation will take place at 11 AM with a memorial service to follow at noon on Thursday, July 28th, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport.
