Peter E. ""Pete"" Young, age 73, passed away Friday, June 14, 2013 at his residence.
Pete was a native of Detroit, Michigan and had been a resident of Diamondhead for the past 9 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He love to golf and was an avid boater.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Madelin Young; his sister, Barbara Legner (John) of Gladwin, Michigan; two nephews, Jack and Eric Legner; and his niece, Nikki Legner. He is also survived by his buddy, his dog Duke.
