Peter Johnston ""Pete"" Powell, age 50, a resident of Long Beach, passed away, Monday, July 28, 2014 in Long Beach.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul H. Powell, II; his grandfather and grandmother, Paul H. and Pearl Powell; and his sister, Lorraine Powell.
Pete is survived by his wife of 26 years, Regina Powell of Long Beach; his mother, Janice Klenk; children, Todd Powell, Cameron Powell (Jeaune Esquivel), Spencer Powell, all of Long Beach; siblings, Paul H. Powell, III, Kitrich A. Powell, both of PA; one grandchild, Auna Marie Powell; and his niece, Rebecca Powell of PA.
He was born in Ellwood, PA and was an avid outdoorsman. Pete enjoyed fishing, hunting, and sports, and had a passion for motorcycles. He retired from the U.S. Navy Seabees after 21 years of service and loved spending time with his family and friends.
A procession will leave RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd., Long Beach at 9:15am on Friday, August 1, 2014 for graveside services at Biloxi National Cemetery at 10:00am.
