Peter “Pete” Seyfarth, age 75, of Long Beach, Mississippi, joined his Lord and Savior on July 15, 2026.
Pete was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, and a faithful friend whose life was centered around his family, his faith, and his community. He shared 17 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Norma, and treasured the life they built together.
Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Doris Seyfarth; and his brother, Paul Seyfarth Jr.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 17 years, Norma; his children, Kristi Olivieri and her husband, Michael, Peter Seyfarth Jr. and his wife, Sara, and Sunny Ulrich and her husband, Gary; his grandson, Jackson Kilosky and his wife, Emily; and his great-grandchildren, Tyler Kilosky and Zoja Kilosky.
A true jack-of-all-trades, Pete enjoyed working with his hands and was always willing to lend his talents wherever they were needed. Throughout his life, he found joy in golf, softball, wood carving, and motorcycles. He also had a heart for serving others and gave generously of his time through church groups, faith-filled activities, and community volunteer work. Pete was a member of First Methodist Church of Long Beach, where his faith and church family were an important part of his life.
Above all, Pete will be remembered for the love he had for his family and the meaningful relationships he built throughout his life. He was a devoted husband, father, and son, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His family will carry his memory in their hearts and find comfort in knowing that he is now at peace with his Lord and Savior.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at First Methodist Church, 208 Pine Street, Long Beach, Mississippi 39560. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Pete’s honor.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, Long Beach, is honored to serve the Seyfarth family.
