Apr 19, 1946 — May 12, 2026
Peter Harold Christiansen, affectionately known as Pete, passed away on May 12, 2026, leaving behind a legacy defined by devotion, craftsmanship, patriotism, and above all, God. Born on April 19, 1946, Pete lived a life enriched by family, service, and his passions, embodying a spirit of generosity and love that touched many.
Pete’s greatest joy was found in the company of his family. He cherished every moment spent with his beloved wife, Karyn Christiansen, and treasured his daughters, Cheryl Woltz and Samantha Christiansen. He was also a proud father-in-law to Brooke Taylor, Bill Woltz, and Eric Taylor. His legacy continues vibrantly through his grandchildren—Guy Christiansen, Jacob Woltz, Maggie Woltz, Anna Christiansen, Hannah Maxwell, Jackson Woltz, Cooper Landry, Nathan Amrich, and Charlise Landry—and his great grandson, Grayson Jones. Pete was also blessed with the companionship and love of his sisters Dorothy and Swede Anderson, and Leola and Devere Curtiss, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Though Pete experienced the profound sorrow of losing his sons, Luke Christiansen and Rick Christiansen, and his daughter, Cori Christiansen, he remained a pillar of strength and love for his surviving family. His enduring commitment to his loved ones was a testament to his character.
A man of skill and heart, Pete had a deep passion for woodworking and carpentry, talents he honed and enjoyed throughout his life. Beyond his crafts, he was a fervent patriot who loved God and his country deeply. His support of military and first responder organizations as a monetary donor reflected his commitment to service and gratitude for those who protect and serve.
