Peter James Byrne

Pete Byrne, age 62, of Pass Christian, Passed away on January 25, 2014 in Pass Christian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Sally Byrne.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Byrne of Pass Christian and her children, Sarah Freeman and Gray Guthrie; her sister, Lori Lucky and her husband, David, of Carrollton, TX; and nephews, Todd, Nate, and Paul Luckey.
Pete received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Kentucky and a Master's Degree in Forestry from Louisiana State University. He was a member of Trinity Church, Pass Christian; a member of the Pass Christian Yacht Club; and a member of the Long Beach Rotary where he received the Paul Harris Fellow award.
Pete was the owner and proprietor of One Real Estate and was the past president of the Gulf Coast Association of Realtors.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Pete was a proud Eagle Scout and the family requests memorial donations to Troop 205, Boy Scouts of America, PO Box 1525, Long Beach, MS 39560.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Trinity Church, Pass Christian with a visitation for family and friends from Noon until the service.
