Peggy Hudgins Roberson

Peggy Hudgins Roberson, age 81, and a native and resident of Long Beach, MS, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Roberson was a loving mother and grandmother who never forgot a birthday. She will be missed by all.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the nursing staff at Driftwood Nursing Center who enjoyed Peggy's quick wit and sense of humor and made her stay there as comfortable as possible.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel H. Hudgins and Mary Roberts Hudgins; her brother, Houston Hudgins; her husband, James H. Roberson; and her previous husband, Raymond P. Verstrat.
She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca V. Swanner (David) from Raceland, LA, Vicki Verstrat from Dayton, Ohio, and Cindy Verstrat Ray from Long Beach; her son, Daniel W. Verstrat from Chattanooga, TN; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 2 nieces.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until 12 Noon on Monday, June 24, 2013 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach. The Graveside Service will be at 12:30 p.m. at Evergreen Gardens in Gulfport.
