Peggy Ritter

Peggy S. Allen Ritter, 85, a native of Long Beach, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Horace T. Crane and Nola I. Drake; her stepfather, Dana P. Drake; her brother, Jack Crane; her daughters, Libby Allen and Deborah Hart; and her son, Thomas E. Allen.
She is survived by her sons, Clifford (Sheila) Allen, Paul (Pam) Allen, and Jack Allen; her daughter, Phyllis (Wayne) Hunter; her 55 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Peggy was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was an avid gardener and quilt maker. Her greatest joy was spending card night with her family and friends.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation for family and friends from 9:00 a.m. until the service at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach.  Interment will follow at Allen Cemetery.
