Peggy A. Davignon, age 77, lifelong resident of Biloxi, passed away on January 8, 2017 in Gulfport, MS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pauline and Howard Copley, and her sister Sue Fenney and her husband Frank.
Her survivors include her husband of 47 years, Richard C. "Dick" Davignon of Biloxi; two children, Thomas Alan Wade of San Marcos, TX and Tammy Grant (Tom) of Jackson, TN; grandchildren, Annette Whiting, Sam Grant and Michael Grant; her siblings, Betty (Marshall) Stevenson, Doris (Frank) Zielinski, Howard (Kathy) Copley, Philip Copley, and Rosemary (Bill) Gilmore; and her beloved dogs, Lady Aster, Ruby Begonia, and Lady Bug.
Peggy and her husband Dick owned and operated the infamous Biloxi steak and lobster restaurant The Copper Lobster from 1971-1997. She then went on to bartending at the President Casino, and then to the IP Casino after Hurricane Katrina.
The family will have a celebration of her life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the South MS Humane Society. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd. Biloxi served the family.
