Peggy Lajune Cuevas

Peggy Lajune Cuevas, 68, of Kiln, MS, died Wednesday, November 27, 2013 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Cuevas graduated from William B. Travis High School in Austin, Texas. She gave countless hours of her time volunteering with Little League Baseball, Pee-Wee Football & cheerleading sponsorship. She dearly loved Stock Car Racing and her dachshund Scott.
She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Isom Thomas and her step-father Frederick Gaines.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Robert ""Terryl"" Cuevas of Kiln; her mother, Dorthy Jean Gaines of Dripping Springs, Texas; her 2 sons, Brian Cuevas and Terry Cuevas (Cindy McCord), both of Kiln; her sister, Dorothy Johnson (Ronnie) of Dripping Springs; 4 grandchildren, Christopher Caccioppo, Ashley Cuevas, Patrick McCord and Anna Pulliman (Dewey); 2 great-grandchildren, Coleton and Gracie Pulliman; and countless nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends to cherish her memories.
The family would like to thank the staff of Woodland Village Nursing Home for their endless care and devotion for countless hours of care and attention provided for our loved one.
Visitation will be from 12 Noon until the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 30, 2013 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road, Pass Christian. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou. Tributes may be offered at www.riemannfamily.com.
