Peggy Satchfield Bush, age 84 and a resident of Long Beach, died on Thursday, September 27, 2012, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Bush was a 1948 graduate of Long Beach High School and was a member of First Baptist Church in Long Beach where she sang in the choir. She was employed with the Bell Telephone Company, and was a member of the Belles & Buoys Square Dance Club in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles & Ada Satchfield; her husband, Edwin ""Eddie"" Bush and her brothers, Esco, R.B., and William Ned Satchfield.
Mrs. Bush is survived by her brother, Charles Satchfield of Gulfport; her daughter, Crystal (Gary) Marshall of Waveland, her son, Eric Bush of Long Beach; her grandchildren, Peggy (Nick) Walgren, Robin Bush, Sean Bush, Jonathan Bush, Christopher Marshall, and Elizabeth Marshall and her great grandchildren, Justin, George, and Drake Walgren, Nevaeh and Michael Phillips.
Private services were held on Thursday, October 4, 2012, at Biloxi National Cemetery
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Baptist Children's Village, 114 Marketridge Drive, Ridgeland, MS 39157.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach, assisted the family with arrangements.
