Paul Stinnett

Paul was born in Nicholasville, Kentucky on June 18, 1940. He surrendered to the arms of his Heavenly Father on June 23, 2013. After twenty-seven years, Paul retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital Rehabilitation Department in September 1994. Always having a love for woodworking, Paul became known for his special skills in building dollhouses. He was an active member of Bel-Aire Baptist Church where his greatest joy was supporting mission trips and the youth.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Fairy Stinnett, his brothers Edward Stinnett, Preston Stinnett Jr., his sister Joyce Becknell, and son Robert Stinnett.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Poole Stinnett, his sons, Rick (Linda) Stinnett, Steve (Cindy) Stinnett of Saucier, Kevin (Lyddia) Stinnett of Gulfport, sisters, Christine Lee and Carole Crump of Nicholasville, KY, brothers, Kenneth Stinnett of Perkinston, Harold Stinnett of Des Allemands, LA, Charles Stinnett, Samuel Stinnett of Nicholasville, KY and Bobby Stinnett of Lexington, KY, grandchildren, Maria Thompson, Amanda Brewer, Patrick Stinnett, Douglas Stinnett, Bradley Stinnett, Alec Stinnett, Amanda Blankenship, and Jake Thomas, and great-grandchildren, Aiden Thompson, Ethan Brewer, Nathan Blankenship and Alivia Blankenship.
Services will be held at Bel-Aire Baptist Church at 12 noon on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 where friends and family are invited for visitation from 10 am - 12 noon. Burial will follow at Steep Hollow Cemetery, Pearl River County.
The family would like to extend special thanks and gratitude to Dr. Cyril Bethala and staff, Pastor Randy Hommel, and Stephen Byrne who walked this journey with us from beginning to end.
